Meet The Team

Dr. Gabriel Tung

Clinical Director, NUCCA Chiropractor

Dr. Gabriel Tung graduated from Life Chiropractic College West as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Prior to this, he studied at McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology. Dr. Tung discovered chiropractic after a lumbar disc injury left him unable to sit or stand without debilitating pain. After trying different healthcare approaches, it was conventional chiropractic that got him back onto his feet.

While conventional chiropractic gave him his life back, he still dealt with constant sciatic pain down his right leg. After undergoing gentle NUCCA care during chiropractic college, he was amazed to find that the shooting leg pain he experienced for years finally disappeared. This led him to fully appreciate the importance of the upper neck in healthcare. In clinical practice, Dr. Tung has a special interest in seeing how upper neck health affects individuals suffering from dizziness and vertigo, and he loves helping patients find relief from other chronic full-body issues utilizing this top-down approach.

During his free time, he likes to spend time outdoors with Jasmine and Nemo. When not outside, he likes to drink good tea and play board games with friends and family. His favourite movie trilogy is the Lord of the Rings.

Justin Chan, DC

NUCCA Chiropractor, Diversified

For Dr. Justin Chan, chiropractic care is a calling rooted in a lifelong passion for movement and community. Growing up heavily involved in sports, Justin experienced firsthand how physical limitations can impact a person’s quality of life and mindset. His decision to become a chiropractor stemmed from a simple, heartfelt desire to empower others to overcome those boundaries, regain confidence in their bodies, and live life to the absolute fullest. He chose this path to be a true partner in his patients’ health journeys, providing the support and intentional care they need to heal, grow, and thrive.

Graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), Dr. Chan combines an intensive professional education with a highly adaptable clinical approach. He firmly believes that care should fit the patient, not the other way around. To achieve this, he intentionally integrates traditional Diversified Chiropractic Technique and National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association (NUCCA) spinal analysis. By balancing the precise, gentle, top-down structural corrections of NUCCA with the active joint mobilization of Diversified care, he customizes every treatment plan based entirely on individual patient comfort, preferences, and long-term health goals. Whether working with patients recovering from chronic issues, individuals managing everyday wear-and-tear, athletes suffering from injuries or families seeking long-term wellness, he excels at looking at the body as an interconnected system.

Dr. Chan’s dedication to helping others extends far beyond the clinic walls. As an avid marathoner, he treats his own running journey as a live clinical laboratory. By analyzing his own training setbacks, biomechanical adjustments, and recovery mistakes, he translates those real-world lessons directly into his clinical toolbox to better guide his patients.

  • NUCCA Conference (Spring 2026)
  • Concussion Bootcamp Course (Carrick Institute 2025)

Nemo

Clinic Dogtor, Chief Happiness Officer

Nemo is our loyal team member that welcomes everyone with a goofy smile and a wagging tail. He accepts any and all types of scratches and treats. You may find him on duty or belly-side up napping in bed. He is loved by all our patients and even the neighbours in the building!

When he’s not working at the clinic, he spends his time out on the water (either the pool or at Lake Simcoe) or playing catch in a softball diamond. He loves to snack on poached chicken or salmon, boiled eggs or nuts and will bat his sweet eyelashes with his round eyes at the dinner table for any “leftovers”. He goes crazy for any soft tissue paper lying around the clinic, but his all time favourite toy is his chuck-it ball.

He is happy to be of service one paw at a time!

Meet Dr. Gabriel Tung

Dr. Gabriel Tung is passionate about serving people and is dedicated to improving the health of those around him. He grew up in Markham, Ontario, and received a Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology at McMaster University before going on to become a Doctor of Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West.

Dr. Tung specializes in the NUCCA procedure, a gentle and effective technique that focuses on the head and upper neck. He has a special interest in working with individuals suffering from dizziness and vertigo, and utilizes a research-informed approach to best help his patients.

Dr. Tung's own NUCCA experience

Dr. Tung first became interested in chiropractic after suffering from a herniated disc. After looking to multiple healthcare practitioners, traditional chiropractic was the only treatment that gave him any relief. Shortly after entering chiropractic school, he discovered NUCCA, and after a few weeks of being under upper cervical care, the sciatic pain that he had been dealing with for years disappeared. That started him on a journey of discovering the importance of the upper neck. Now, his goal is to introduce NUCCA to those who have exhausted all other options so they can live better and pain-free lives. Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Tung enjoying the outdoors and eating good food!
